Ifrikya Center for Common Ground (ICCG) is a Tunisian non-profit organization working to promote non-violent conflict resolution. ICCG’s mission is to promote sustainable social cohesion within local communities in Tunisia, through the facilitation of conflict transformation processes. ICCG is committed to fostering a culture of dialogue and diversity through the involvement and capacity-building of all components of society. It helps members of Tunisian society to address conflicts and differences constructively, through cooperation and dialogue. ICCG works through multiple channels, mainly with public authorities, young people, representatives of civil society organizations in the 24 governorates, the Tunisian media, and local authorities, to build the capacity of individuals and institutions to address challenges by understanding differences and acting on common ground.

About the project: 

 

Fa-y-k-in builds on the success of previous projects, “Fa-y-ke wa Nfeyyak” and “Be Fa-y-a-k” and is a 12-month project funded by Porticus Foundation and implemented by Ifrikya Center for Common Ground (ICCG). The project seeks to address misinformation in Tunisia through online and offline methods while encouraging civic engagement and social change. A key component of the project is creating an eLearning platform to enhance media literacy and fact-checking skills among youth influencers and Tunisian youth.

Objective

The main objective of the consultancy is to coach selected youth influencers in developing high-impact digital content, strengthening their online presence, and improving their influence within their communities. This will include a focus on ethical digital practices, content strategy, and fostering social change through online platforms.

 

Scope of Work:  

The Coaching Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to youth influencers in content creation, digital storytelling, and audience engagement.(total of 35 sessions) 
  • Develop a tailored coaching plan based on each influencer’s strengths, weaknesses, and target audience.
  • Support influencers in developing consistent and impactful messaging that aligns with the project’s objectives (e.g., social cohesion, misinformation prevention, civic engagement).
  • Provide feedback on influencers’ content, including posts, videos, podcasts, etc., to enhance their reach and engagement.
  • Share best practices in managing social media algorithms, trends, and influencer marketing strategies.

Deliverables

  • A coaching plan tailored for each influencer.
  • Minimum 32 one-on-one and group coaching sessions.
  • A toolkit for influencers on content creation, audience engagement, and ethical digital practices.
  • Final report summarizing the achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future support.

Duration and Timeline

The consultancy is expected to last for 6 months, starting from the 1st of November and ending by April. A more detailed timeline will be agreed upon during the initial consultation phase.

. Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a digital content creator, influencer, or coach in the social media space.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content strategy or journalism and communication.
  • Strong understanding of ethical digital practices and youth engagement.
  • Experience working with youth and/or vulnerable communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant digital tools for content creation and editing.
