Position Summary:

Provide technical leadership and oversight for the management, design, development and implementation of small-scale renovations/constructions.

Position Responsibilities:

•  Perform needs assessments of sites identified for renovation.
• Produces engineering documents by developing renovation/construction specifications, plans and schedules.
• Determines project costs by calculating labor, materials and related costs.
• Prepares detailed Bills of Quantities for site renovation/construction.
• Preparation of renovation/construction budgets for renovations.
• Prepares requests for quotes for site renovations.
• Review of bids submitted by construction companies.
• Liaise with site authorities and construction companies in charge of renovation/construction work.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design and materials specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
• Prepares site visit reports in project status.
• Reviews and approves invoices submitted by construction companies.
• Manages purchase orders issued to construction companies for compliance of terms and conditions.
• Maintains project database.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
• Performs other duties as required.
