Project Description:

The purpose of the anticipated five-year, USAID-funded Tunisia Civil Society & Good Governance Activity is to facilitate a productive relationship between civil society and the Government of Tunisia, focusing on three key roles of civil society in a middle-income, democratic country: 1) advocacy/ campaigner (for example advocating for changes in existing laws to facilitate reforms), 2) watchdog (for example, monitoring of reforms and human rights issues), and 3) participant in global governance processes (for example, the open government partnership standards, advisory boards of investment funds, etc.).
