Chemonics International seeks a Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning Specialist for the newly awarded USAID Tunisia Jobs, Opportunities, and Business Success (Tunisia JOBS). The purpose of Tunisia JOBS is to create jobs in Tunisia by providing targeted technical assistance to individual firms, in order to increase that firm’s competitiveness, enabling it to expand and hire additional workers. At the same time, in support of the goal of job creation, the project will assist Tunisia with workforce development and job placement as well as identify and advocate for improvements in Tunisia’s business enabling environment.The Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning Specialist will be responsible for supporting the design and management of the project’s monitoring and evaluation systems for measuring progress of the project’s components. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the design and implementation of the project’s monitoring and evaluation system;
• Organize and collect data using appropriate tools and procedures;
• Manage the ArcGIS platform and ensures training of staff on the Survey123 mobile data collection forms;
• Compile and analyze relevant data on project indicators for contractual reports;
• Perform data quality and integrity assessments, including periodically conducting field visits and spot checks to verify data;
• Coordinate with other monitoring and evaluation team members and technical team members as needed;
• Regularly communicate progress against targets to project staff;
• Support the achievement of overall project goals as required to ensure project performance.
