Cash and Markets Specialist

The position is based in Tunis, Tunisia 

The Cash & Market Specialist 2 supports the planning, implementation and monitoring of the Economic Security (EcoSec) Unit’s Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) programmes, including market analysis, in line with the country strategy.

S/he is integral to the department’s mission to improve the quality and accountability of the programmes. As such, s/he contributes to the set-up, development and application of CVA programmes.

MAIN TASKS:

0. Assists in the management of the CVA programmes,
1. Represents the ICRC in CVA related meetings and coordinates with other humanitarian actors,
2. Supports the management of the relationship with Financial Service Providers,
3. Contributes to the drafting of tender and framework agreements,
4. Calls beneficiaries to receive their feedback related to CVA programmes,
5. Supports teams in the field in the assessment, implementation and monitoring of CVA programmes,
6. Designs relevant data collection tools, collects and analyses the data collected.
7. Liaises with the support departments (logistics and finance) to facilitate the implementation of programs,
8. Contributes to internal reporting,
9. Translates documents for internal use and interprets upon request,
10. Provides administrative support,
11. Supports the other programmes in the EcoSec Unit upon request.
