The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a global network of policy research centers in Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East, India, and the United States, is seeking a full-time Research Analyst based in Tunis, Tunisia. This position will report to Carnegie’s DC-based Middle East Program.
This position will contribute to Carnegie papers and reports, write and co-author op-eds and articles, assist in organizing events and meetings in Tunis, engage regularly with government officials and civil society interlocutors, assist Carnegie fellows with research on Tunisian political, security, and economic issues, and other duties as assigned by the program.
Critères d'éligibilité
- a bachelor's degree in social science or political/international affairs, a master's degree is preferred
- have at least 2-3 years' experience in a research-focused role and familiarity with the political, security, and economic issues of Tunisia
- be self-starters
- excellent attention to detail
- be able to work independently
- adapt quickly and possess
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Native or near-native level English and Arabic are required
- Proficiency in French is also preferred
