The Munathara Initiative is seeking to collaborate with a professional and experienced media production company to deliver production services for its new web TV show “Jeel Jey +”. This project aims to engage young citizens aged 16–27 through a dynamic, informal, and youth-oriented format that reflects the tone and style of digital content popular on social media platforms. The show will consist of 30-minute episodes distributed on Facebook and YouTube, with the ambition to expand its reach through additional media partnerships, including television and radio.
The selected company will act as a production partner, responsible for all phases of pre-production and production.
During the pre-production phase, the company will be expected to contribute to the creative and technical planning of the show, propose a visual identity aligned with the target audience, and prepare the studio setup and set design in coordination with the Munathara team.
The production phase will require the company to ensure high-quality multi-camera filming, technical direction, and smooth execution of each episode in a fully equipped studio environment.
The company must provide a professional studio setup that includes high-quality cameras and optics, a complete lighting system (key lights, fill lights, and backlights), a fully operational control room (régie) with live switching capabilities, and a studio-grade audio system with individual microphones for six participants. The set design must be adapted to a debate format and designed to be visually appealing and engaging for a young audience.
An important component of this assignment is the company’s ability to support media outreach and distribution. The selected company should demonstrate experience or capacity to collaborate with TV channels, radio stations, and other production companies to expand the visibility of the show beyond digital platforms. Strong networks and prior experience in media partnerships will be considered a significant advantage.
The deliverables expected from the company include recorded episodes and access to raw footage. The company is expected to maintain high-quality production standards throughout the project, and any deliverables not meeting expectations must be revised within an agreed timeline without additional cost.
The production company must remain available and responsive throughout the duration of the project, ensuring effective communication with the Munathara team during working hours and providing timely updates on the progress of the assignment. Any risks or delays that may affect the implementation of the project must be communicated promptly.
All content produced, including video, audio, and related materials, will remain the exclusive intellectual property of The Munathara Initiative. The selected company will not be permitted to use, distribute, or publish any content without prior written authorization.
Interested companies are invited to submit both a technical proposal, including their profile, portfolio, and proposed approach, and a financial proposal with a detailed budget breakdown.
Proposals must be sent no later than 20 April to the following email addresses:
sofien@munathara.com
sassi@munathara.com
The selection process will include a pre-selection phase, followed by meetings with shortlisted companies, after which a final decision will be made. The project will be implemented in close coordination with the Project Manager and the Munathara Team.
