Call for Ideas: Maghreb Urban Hub 

Rethink cities and housing as living systems ; shaped by climate, resources, and social balance. 

The Green Building Councils of Tunisia, Libya, and Algeria are looking for young talents under 35 to propose actionable ideas that make our cities and habitats more resilient, resource-efficient, and socially inclusive. 

Why apply? 

• Receive guidance from experts during a 2-day hackathon 
• Join a regional bootcamp across the North Africa 
• Showcase your ideas in policy briefs and official project outputs Who can apply? 
• Graduates, researchers, or Master’s students (<35 years old) 
• Working individually or in teams of 2–5 (teamwork preferred) 
• Disciplines: Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Energy, Water/Environment, Eco-design, Public Policy, Finance, or multidisciplinary research 

Submission formats: 

• Idea Note (1–3 pages) 
• Case Study – transferable experience 
• Mini-Pilot Project – site, actors, budget, plan of action 

Deadline: 30 March 2026 – 23:59 (Tunis time)
