Background:
Tunisian Center for Public Health is a non-governmental organization aiming to develop the science and art of public health in Tunisia and the region.
The Tunisian Center for Public Health works collaboratively with academic and community partners to identify critical public health challenges, design and implement research and develop intervention strategies for urban and vulnerable populations. The Center’s focus is to utilize research findings to provide tangible benefits to communities, reduce health care disparities, and foster public health care quality improvement.
Tunisian Association of Dental Students or TADS is an independent organization, made by students for students and offers various activities to animate and enrich the student life of dental medical students.
Focus Areas:
Dental public health is defined as “the science and art of preventing and controlling dental diseases and promoting dental health through organized community efforts.”
Dental public health experts provide leadership and guidance in areas such as population-based dentistry, disease prevention, the promotion of dental health, and the surveillance of oral health.
This funding opportunity is dedicated to allowing dental students and interns to develop public health programs geared towards achieving one of the areas listed above. Attached to this announcement is a template that prospective applicants can use as a guide to develop their program or intervention.
Funding Information
The grant will range from 3000 DT to 3500DT per project
The project should not exceed 8 months in duration (Deadline End of 2021)
