About FHI 360:

For over 40 years, FHI 360 has built the capacity of individuals, communities, and governments to address the needs of vulnerable populations. In more than 60 countries, our work is grounded in research and evidence, and our staff and experts have developed partnerships to support programs in economic development—including workforce development, private sector partnership and access to finance— civil society strengthening, technology and innovation, health access and services, and education. Our integrated approaches across a broad set of disciplines and countries helps develop customized responses to complex challenges addressing multiple aspects of people’s lives. FHI 360 has implemented economic development, community resilience, and youth development projects and activities in Tunisia since 2015, with a current country program portfolio of $52 million and geographic footprint in 15 governorates. We are currently seeking a range of experts for the anticipated USAID-funded Tourism Development Activity in Tunisia.

Program Description:

Enhance Tunisia’s tourism potential, with the goal of generating revenue and jobs, particularly for women and youth and for populations in underserved regions of the country. There are a number of objectives that need to be achieved in order to attain this vision, including: enhance Tunisia’s competitiveness as a tourism destination; increase tourism-related investments and revenue; and improve the enabling environment for sustained growth in the tourism sector.

Call for Experts

FHI 360 seeks qualified technical and operational specialists in Tunisia in the following areas of expertise to serve as full-time, long-term staff. Areas of technical and advisory assistance sought include:

• Monitoring, evaluation, learning and communication
• Demand-driven education and training in the tourism sector
• Destination marketing and promotion
• Tourism product and service development (particularly cultural and adventure products)
• Sustainable Tourism
• Destination site management and operations
• Itinerary development and promotion
• Enabling environment reform and improvements in the tourism sector
• Public and private partnerships in the tourism sector 

In addition, FHI 360 seeks program management and operations specialists in Tunisia who are skilled in:

• Human resources and administration
• Finance and accounting
•  Procurement and logistics
• Grant and subcontract management
