About The Global Shapers Tunis Hub
The Global Shapers Tunis Hub (GSTH) is a youth-led organization that is part of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. The Global Shapers Community is a network of young, passionate, and socially engaged leaders, aged between 18 and 30 years old, who are committed to driving change in their local communities and beyond.
The Tunis Hub holds a special place in this global network, as it was the first-ever hub created within the Global Shapers Community in 2011, as a form of resistance in the wake of the Jasmine Revolution sparked in Tunisia. It was founded by a group of young, committed citizens, civil society activists, entrepreneurs, and students who played a pivotal role in Tunisia’s democratic transition.
With a team of 20 dedicated young changemakers, with diverse backgrounds and expertise, we are deeply invested in creating tangible, lasting impact in Tunisia, making sure that young voices are heard and that youth-led solutions are at the heart of progress.
