Beta4Good Cohort 2-SPARK Retour vers les opportunités

We have just opened our call for applications to the 2nd cohort of our new incubation program ‘Beta4Good’ in partnership with SPARK and STB INVEST. We are looking for 20 growth-oriented tech startups to start this new journey of tailored training, quality incubation and a chance to win your first investment ticket.

About Betacube: 

Betacube is a venture builder that co-creates tech startups and accompanies them from idea to market validation and fundraising, offering a 100% digital experience. Betacube also assists companies in their strategy and implementation of collaborations with the startup world, creating an ecosystem of corporate partners and connecting startups with potential customers, partners and investors.

About SPARK:

The Dutch Non-Governmental Organization SPARK develops higher education and entrepreneurship to empower young, ambitious people to lead their conflict affected or in transition societies into prosperity. 

SPARK Tunisia is working to counter high unemployment rates amongst Tunisian youth by encouraging the development of Tunisia’s private sector through entrepreneurship training and support to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Background

The Local Employment in Africa for Development (LEAD) is a job creation programme that seeks to foster a culture of entrepreneurship among youth in Tunisia, and Somalia-Somaliland. Through the development of business ideas, the provision of training and coaching, and supporting access to finance, the LEAD programme aims to prevent economic migration and encourage youth to establish domestic enterprises. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs funds the programme.

About STB INVEST: 

It is the SICAF of the STB bank, a public limited company, created in May 1991 with a capital of TND 39,351,980. The STB INVEST markets its products under the sign of the STB group. Its mission is to contribute to the mobilization by public way of savings, to the development of the financial market and to the promotion of investments.

The Company’s purpose is to manage, by using its own funds, a portfolio of securities, as well as all related operations, including in particular the acquisition of holdings or interests in all operations and activities directly or indirectly related to its purpose.

This competitive program allows our selected tech startups founders to join an innovative entrepreneurial display providing them with professional coaching to further develop their prototypes/products and prepare them for their targeted markets along with potential  investment opportunities. Only 8 startups out of 20 will make it to the incubation phase and compete for their first investment !

      Hybrid Bootcamp

• Access various training sessions conducted both online and offline around various topics (fundraising, go to market strategies, agile methodology, pitching etc.) including one to one consultations and a pitching opportunity in front of STB INVEST committee

      Online Incubation program

 ● Dive into the latest trends and skills needed to leverage the full potential of your startup through a cycle of online trainings during the whole incubation phase

• Update & finalize your business plan with a top financial consultant at your disposal 

• Get your marketing strategy ready to take your startup to the next level of market scaling 

• Wrap up your branding guidelines thanks to the full support of a senior UX expert

• Benefit from full legal support at your disposal for any type of documentation, contract writing ect.

      ● Team up with our technology experts, UX consultant and top notch IT team to further develop your MVP/product

• Become investment ready 

• Be assigned to a professional mentor from the same field based on the startup’s need

• Compete to win an investment ticket of 85k TND offered by STB INVEST at the end of your incubation (2 tickets will be offered per cohort)

Networking and visibility

• An opportunity to pitch your startup during the demo day in front of a pull of investors and ecosystem key actors

• Facilitated access to STB bank and its clients with the support of STB INVEST

• Gain visibility and access a wide network of potential investors, corporates and development partners within the national and the international ecosystem.
