L’association IIDebate lance un appel à candidature pour la deuxième édition de “Train the Trainers” (Offre en anglais) Retour vers les opportunités

We are looking for experienced young people to be trainers with us during the period “Dec. 2015 to Oct. 2016” and who will be responsible of delievering training session for 30 young beneficiaries from the following regions: Tunis, Bizerte, Sidibouzid, Gabes and Sfax in addition to start a debate club in their communities.

The program will start with a ToT from 24th December 2015 to 27th December 2015 delivered by a professional trainer in civic engagement, advocacy, freedom of speech, public speaking, non-verbal communication, debate skills and journalism.The following months, each trainer will be delievering training sessions for the beneficiary of the program (150 youth from 5 regions) during the period of 5 months. The trainers will be also monitors for the groups they will train.

To achieve a successful training, the program will include a training of trainers. The young beneficiaries will disseminate the taught concepts in civic engagement in their respective 5 regions: Tunis-Ariana, Bizerte, Sidibouzid, Gabes and Sfax through fieldtrips and awareness campaigns. The young beneficiaries will present their findings to a committee to help reshape the education system.

This training will be a good opportunity to enlarge Network and Knowledge of the trainees especially in democratic education and Election process and also to prepare the participants who will be in charge the participants of project in the 5 Regions to succeed in their campaign and prepare them to the regional and National Competitions. Adding to that it will help them get inspired and develop their competences in communication.

The sessions will be held by professional trainers certified from international institutions and working with multinational companies and organizations.

The ToT is 4 days training and it is open for everyone who is interested to be part of it.

Condition to be part of the training:

1. Previous experience in trainings (At least 2 years)
2. Worked already in the field of youth and civic engagement
3. Can speak and write in English since the training can be in English
4. Is motivated to be part of IIDebate team from December 2015 to October 2016
6. Should be living in one the following cities (Bizerte, Tunis, Gabes, Sfax or SidiBouzid)
7. Flexible with travelling between the cities
8. Between the age of 20 to 27 years old
