Who we are

The non-profit organisation enpact was founded in August 2013 with the aim of strengthening economic relations between young entrepreneurs from the startup scenes of the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. Since then, this goal has been successfully implemented with an innovative startup mentoring programme for promising young entrepreneurs.

In addition to that we support local entrepreneurial ecosystems by creating entrepreneur spaces for startup related activities through startup haus and provide relevant research through our startup meter by analysing the startup friendliness of cities. Furthermore we are ready to organise delegation trips for founders to discover different startup scenes worldwide through startup connect. Taking part in enpacts journey entails a life-time membership of a growing international network of society shapers, company builders, responsible leaders and change makers. With us you will start enpacting and impacting!

Startup Haus

The Startup Haus Tunis is a joint project realized by the non-profit organizations enpact e.V. and the Westerwelle Foundation. It was officially inaugurated on March 15 in 2016.

In order to support the Tunisian entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Startup Haus follows an inclusive approach by providing not only office space, but also the missing link for numerous entrepreneurial stakeholders and their different programmes and services. Situated in the heart of downtown Tunis, the 500 m2 space on two floors is easily accessible and offers different co-working passes, individual offices, meeting rooms and a public event space. Additionally, it gives entrepreneurs access to a variety of national and international mentoring programmes, workshops and other startup related activities by an open office concept, where all relevant national and international stakeholders get the opportunity to present themselves and their endeavours.

Such the Startup Haus presents an inclusive platform and a one stop shop for startups that promotes an entrepreneurial spirit and culture, fosters a sense of community within the ecosystem and offers a place for the exchange of ideas, peer-to-peer learning and capacity-building opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Accounting, finance, administration and legal compliance
• Coordination with accountant & lawyer
• Monthly reports to enpact Germany
• Contracts with coworkers and external stakeholders (events, workshop rooms)
• HR management of Startup Haus staff (security, office management, cleaning, interns)
• Setting up an online booking system for workshop rooms
• Preparation & logistics for event organization (internal and external)
• Coordination of infrastructural necessities with external stakeholders (architects, etc.)
• Sales, Marketing, PR and active acquisition of stakeholders for the open office concept
• Acquisition of partners and active participation in startup events
• Developing a private sector sponsoring strategy
• Catering Partnerships
