Background

The Arab Association of Constitutional Law (the “ACL”) is a regional association of constitutional law experts that seeks to influence the public debate on rights and governance frameworks.  The ACL seeks to achieve this goal through a number of means, including but not limited to the implementation of projects.  For that purpose, the ACL is seeking to recruit the services of a project officer who will be responsible for implementing projects on behalf of the ACL.

Scope of Work

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the project officer contributes to project design, planning, implementation, monitoring and the evaluation of the AACL current projects. The project officer will be responsible for day to day management issues related to the projects under her/his responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop a workplan for the current projects.
• Organise and implementing activities for the organization current projects, while ensuring a timely delivery of quality outputs.
• Prepare reports in relation to the programme monitoring tools.
• Assist the financial officer in preparing and managing all procurement documents.
• Provide a regular update for the implementation process.
• Create an archive for all relevant documents.

Job Conditions :

• Duty Station : The duty station will be Tunis.
• Type of Contract : Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Duration of Contract : 13 months – 1^st November 2018- 30^th November 2019
• Reporting Line : Theproject officer will report to the Executive Director.
