ABOUT THE ROLE

Amnesty MENA Regional office in Tunis, seeks a Regional Campaigner. The MENA Regional Office plays a critical role in the Amnesty International Secretariat, gathering and communicating accurate and action-oriented human rights information and delivering on the vision to end grave human rights abuses and build societies respectful of human rights. Across the region, Amnesty International campaigns for meaningful change, supports national entities, enables effective activism and growth, and works to persuade governments and other actors to uphold universal human rights standards. The office provides strategic leadership and support and advice to the Amnesty International movement globally, fostering its contribution, presence and public accountability throughout the world.

Please note that Arabic and English fluency is required

This vacancy will cover Tunisia and Egypt

ABOUT YOU

To develop and implement campaigning strategies, managing and coordinating campaign actions on human rights concerns by using and developing knowledge on specific countries or other geographical and thematic areas, and supporting and liaising with Amnesty International (AI) movement and outside networks to ensure maximum impact.
