Assignment:

The REACH Project Officer is responsible for supporting the Tunis based REACH teams   in supervising the REACH team in Libya  in carrying out data collection for REACH assessments and surveys, supporting data analysis and supervising work plans for Data Collectors. The REACH Project Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient communication between Tunis and Libya and training new Project Assistants. The Project Officer also supports updates to databases as needed and data entry.

The REACH Senior Officer also acts as point of contact for team of Data Collectors in the field. Fulfilling other duties when requested by the Field Manager or Assessment Manager

Functions

The REACH Project Officer is responsible for completing the following tasks:

• Planning and supervising:
  • According to project work plan, supervising and liaising with Libya based field teams and Enumerators in their daily activities.
  • Communicate with REACH Libya based teams on a daily basis and relaying their request to REACH Tunis based teams
  • Checking the activities for the following week, following up with any additional planning of activities.
  • Supporting the data collectors with daily work plans and communicating to them relevant information from the Senior Field Coordinator or other staff.
  • Ensuring that the data collectors complete HR documents such as vacation requests in time, and complete the daily attendance sheets.
• Remote supervision of Data collection and support to project manager:
  • 6.       Supporting the update of Key Informant data base and other data entry as needed.
  • 7.     Monitoring remotely the data collection in the field and check it is collected with quality (for example, interview technique, methodology of assessment is followed).
  • 8.     Reporting any security incidents as soon as possible to the Senior Field Manager.
  • 9.     Providing additional support as required relating to the implementation of activities.
  • 10.   Support the project manage  in analysing and translating to English qualitative data collected from the field
  • 11.   Participating in drawing the time plan for the week activities
