Acceleration Program – Madar Innovation عودة إلى الفرص

Madar Innovation is a project led by Impact Partner and New Silk Roads, funded by the European Union and IFC.

Madar accelerator is a free 6 months ‘à la carte’ digital program designed for entrepreneurs who are ready to unlock the full potential of their businesses.

The program has two main intervention axes: 

• Creating acceleration opportunities for growth, mainly aimed at startups who need access to finance.

• Bridging the gap between startups and investors whether national or international.

Application :

• The application will last for a duration of 3 weeks to give the opportunity for all participants to join.

Pre-selection : 

• The received applications will go through a selection committee,   a scoring system will determine the pre-selected participants.
• The process takes around 3 to 4 days.

Interviews : 

• The pre-selected startups will be invited to pitch their idea in front of the selection committee in order to meet the founders and get to know the business more. The final participants will be announced after this stage. 

Pre-acceleration : 

• For a duration of  2 weeks,  the startups will go through multiple virtual training sessions to assess their startups and determine their needed axes of growth.

Acceleration : 

• All the startups will go through a common track, and will also have the opportunity to choose from a Pre-set list of Acceleration packs based on their need. Workshops and training sessions for pre-set packs will be mostly virtual.

Demo Day: 

• The Pitch day will celebrate the end of the program and will give the participants the opportunity to showcase their work in front of a variety of actors of the ecosystems.

Matchmaking : 

• Selected accelerated startups will get the opportunity to get matched with 5 seed funds. This matching will take the form of meetings and reunions, with the aim of facilitating fundraising for startups.
