Impact Partner is launching the FundImpact Matching Fund, a new financing opportunity designed to support social enterprises in Tunisia that are ready to grow, strengthen their business and mobilize additional financing.

The Fund combines grant financing with fundraising support, giving selected social enterprises access to an initial grant while supporting them in securing additional capital from other funders.

Social enterprises often need more than a single grant to move to their next stage of development. They may need to invest in equipment, expand their market, strengthen their team, develop a product, increase their production capacity or finance other strategic growth activities. At the same time, accessing additional financing can be challenging. The FundImpact Matching Fund is designed to address both challenges:

Provide catalytic funding + help enterprises mobilize more funding.

Through the programme, Impact Partner will combine financial support with opportunities to connect with investors, funders and other financing partners through Station I.

Selected social enterprises will have access to a two-stage grant mechanism.

STAGE 1: €10,000 Initial Grant

Selected enterprises receive an initial grant of up to €10,000 to finance a clearly defined growth or impact project. The funding should contribute to a concrete business milestone and have a clear link to the enterprise’s development.

STAGE 2 : Mobilize €10,000

The enterprise works to secure at least €10,000 in additional financing from an eligible external source.

This can include, for example:

• Grants;

• Investment/equity;

• Loans;

• Corporate financing;

• Other eligible financing sources.

STAGE 3 : Unlock €15,000 Additional Grant

Once the €10,000 additional financing has been secured and verified, the enterprise becomes eligible for an additional: €15,000 grant from Impact Partner

An enterprise that successfully completes the matching mechanism can access:

The objective is not simply to give you a grant. It is to help you use that grant to unlock more capital for your enterprise.

Impact Partner will support selected enterprises in their capital mobilization efforts. Through Station I, selected enterprises will have opportunities to connect with potential funders and investors through:

• Physical fundraising rounds : Curated meetings and pitching sessions with relevant financing partners.

• Remote fundraising rounds : Online opportunities to connect with regional and international funders.

• One-to-one matchmaking: Targeted introductions based on your financing needs, sector and stage of development.

Potential participants may include: Impact investors · Catalytic funders · Foundations · Grant-makers ·

Business angels · Corporate partners · Financial institutions · Development finance actors

The Fund is open to social enterprises and impact-driven enterprises operating in Tunisia.

We are looking for enterprises that:

✓ Are operational : You should already have an active business or operational activity.

✓ Have demonstrated traction : This may include revenue, customers, beneficiaries, pilots, contracts or partnerships.

✓ Address a clear social or environmental challenge : Your business should generate a meaningful social and/or environmental contribution.

✓ Have growth potential : You should have a clear opportunity to expand your business and/or impact.

✓ Have a clear financing need: You should be able to explain what additional capital is needed and why.

✓ Can implement the proposed project : You should have the team and operational capacity to manage the activities and funding.

✓ Are willing to mobilize additional financing : You should have a credible strategy for securing at least

€10,000 in additional financing.

The initial grant can support activities directly linked to your business growth and impact.

Examples include:

• Equipment and productive assets;

• Product or service development;

• Technology development;

• Market expansion;

• Business development;

• Production capacity;

• Digital tools and systems;

• Team strengthening;

• Marketing and sales development;

• Certification or other strategic business needs;

• Other clearly justified growth activities.

The proposed expenses must be clearly linked to your growth objectives.

Additional financing must be genuine and verifiable.

The €10,000 matching financing must come from a source other than Impact Partner and must be supported by appropriate evidence.

No double financing. : The same activity or expense cannot be financed twice through different funding sources.

The additional €15,000 is conditional: The second grant is only unlocked once the required €10,000 in additional financing has been successfully secured and verified.
