Fatma Mabrouk is a researcher at the Center for Economic and Social Studies and Research (CERES-Tunisia) and an affiliate researcher with the GREThA (Research Group in Theoretical and Applied Economics – University of Bordeaux). She is a member of AQAFI (Aquitaine Africa Initiatives Association in France). Recently, she joins the International Organization for Migration in Tunisia as a data analyst and works on MRRM project (Response Mechanism and Resources for Migrants).
She was a junior consultant at the African Development Bank, working in Development Research Department. Fatma Mabrouk holds a PhD in Economics from both the University of Bordeaux (France) and the University of Tunis El Manar (Tunisia) with a highest honor and a Master’s degree in International Economics from the University of Paris Dauphine (France). Before joining the African Development Bank, she was a teaching assistant for four years at the University of Bordeaux. Her main research interests relate to migration and remittances, trade and regional integration, inclusive economic development.
