Our one-day conference will create a platform for students and professionals from New York to Tunis to discuss communication and technology strategies when engaging in student activism.
The morning will be spent getting to know one another and collaboratively discussing the 101 of student activism, as members of a young generation of creative, driven, and tech-savvy students.
In the afternoon, we will host select speakers in order to better understand ways to strategically employ technology as student activists. Participants will leave the conference with a deepened outlook on student activism as a political driver, as well as with a set of concrete tools to be applied on campus, within the city, and throughout the country.
We are delighted to announce Amira Yahyaoui, the founder of the NGO Al-Bawsala, as the keynote speaker for the conference.
If you are a student and would like to participate in the conference, which will take place on Saturday, August 20th, from 9AM-6PM at l’Université de Carthage in Tunis
