During this workshop, you will put the pencil to the paper and explore how music can impact your writing style. You will also get a chance to present some of your creations and you will work on your presentation style.
Participants with a background in poetry writing and delivery are especially encouraged to join in!

ABOUT THE COACH
Alaina is the Public Diplomacy Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Tunis, managing English Language Programs and Alumni Engagement. She has hosted various poetry events – from intimate writing workshops to large scale slam-poetry events and has coached a poetry team that has competed and excelled nationally in the US. Although not currently practicing performing arts, Alaina is passionate about encouraging others to expand their stage performance style and literary approach.
Alaina holds a B.A. in Religion from Swarthmore College and an M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University.
