The application period for this fully-funded scholarship is open now until September 1. This information session is your opportunity to learn firsthand about the Fulbright FLTA program by interacting directly with the Embassy’s Cultural Affairs specialist and an alumnus of the program. During this information session your questions about the program, the application process, the selection criteria, life on U.S. Campus and much more, will be answered. You will also get a chance to interact in person with returning participants who will share with you their experiences in the U.S.
– Fulbright FLTA Program Overview:
The FLTA program is a nine-month, fully funded, non-degree experience for early career teachers. FLTA participants teach Arabic at colleges and universities in the United States while simultaneously taking courses in American culture and other elective courses. Teachers of English language, American Studies, and American/English literature – as well as professionals in related fields – are encouraged to apply.
