The 5th Annual Hammamet Conference will take place from 24 to 26 November in Hammamet, Tunisia. Over 100 leaders from UK and North African business, politics, civil society, academia, media, culture and the arts will convene under the theme visions of a better future. The 2016 Hammamet Conference will explore the challenge to believe in the future by highlighting and sharing solutions through a focus on three sub-themes: political and economic reform through engagement; civil society’s role in addressing inequalities; and the arts and culture as drivers of change.
The conference provides space for candid conversations in formal (open) and informal (closed) sessions and a unique opportunity to identify and discuss common challenges and share ideas, insights and experiences that may help to overcome these obstacles and to bridge the gap across the communities.
The conference programme design provides a relaxed setting for leaders to discuss, debate, think and share ideas to promote learning and networking. It combines chaired presentations and panel discussions, and small focussed groups discussions with a world café setting.
The overarching theme for the 2016 annual conference is: Visions of a better future.
