Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for providing effective and efficient financial services to internal andexternal clients in accordance with Financial rules and regulations. You will advise colleagues on proper financial procedures. You will support the office programme management and delivery through provision of financial information.
Critères d'éligibilité
- Education: Completed Secondary Level Education required. First Level of University degree is desirable in the areas of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in finance-related experience - accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, etc.
- Experience in the above areas with international organizations will be an asset
- Proficiency in use of spreadsheets, word processing and computerized accounting systems
- Experience in UN accounting framework and systems and specifically Atlas/PeopleSoft will be an advantage
- Languages: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic
