The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung is a think tank affiliated with the German Left Party. We are working in North Africa since 2011 and have registered our regional office in Tunis in 2014. We’re hiring for a new program with a focus on producing innovative information material as well as implementing user-friendly trainings in the field of economic and trade policies.

Scope of work

The position is designed as follows:

• Designing, planning, and implementing training programs for newcomers to as well as experts in the field of economy and trade;
• Establishing and maintaining an overview of actors relevant in the field of the economy and economic policy-making;
• Monitor economic developments in North Africa with a focus on North Africa-EU relations and produce user-friendly analyses in Arabic and English;
• Planning and implementing national, regional and international exchange and dialogue with regards to socio-economic policies, especially with the global South;
• Producing user-friendly information and training material.

The position will be facilitated with a one-year Tunisian work contract with the possibility of extension. The RLS will utilize the first year to further develop the position and specify its tasks.
