Oxfam is looking for an Administration Assistant

Objectives of the position

The overall responsibility of the jobholder is to Provide administration support to Tunisia Office.

Post Conditions

  • Type of contract: Fixed term contract
  • Contract Duration: 6 mois
  • Working hours: Full time (40hours/week)
  • Location: Based in Tunis
  • Salary & Conditions: According to Oxfam Salary scale and HR policy and conditions in Tunisia (26.000 annual gross salary)
  • Reporting line: Administration and logistics officer
  • Starting date: As soon as possible

Key responsibilities of the position

  • Responsible for reception role providing general administration support to the Tunisia office
  • Under the guidance of the administration and logistics officer ensure that the Tunisia office purchases & services are done according to Oxfam’s procurement policy & procedures.
  • Organize all internal and external duty travel arrangements including accommodation, transportation, assisting with visas and all the necessary logistic arrangements related to travelling to and from the Field Office.
  • Make logistic arrangements for the events like seminars and workshops: Venue, meals, transportation, interpreter, etc
  • Any task reasonably assigned by the line manager or designated person

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Experience in a similar administrative role
  • Understanding of purchases procedures
  • Technically competent in administration
  • Ability to communicate instructions effectively
  • Able to organize own work with minimum supervision
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work within a team
  • Continually seeks out most efficient use of resources
  • Enthusiastic and committed to Oxfam’s goals
  • Willing & able to offer support to other departments
  • Computer literate, including word processing, database / spreadsheet use
  • Written & oral Arabic and French, English essential
  • Financial literate. (Desirable)
