About the event:
This event will cover the basics of effective application writing, including understanding the different components of applications, strategies for essay writing, the importance of editing, the dos and don’ts of recommendation letters, time management, and other important tips to best present yourself, followed by Q&A. These tips can be applied to a wide range of applications, including university admission, scholarships, job applications, and more.
About our guest:
Katie Bentivoglio has been working as a project manager in Tunisia for two years. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University in 2013 and has been accepted to numerous fellowships and scholarships, including the Carnegie Endowment Junior Fellows Program, the American University’s Presidential Internship program and the U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship. She has also worked closely with students on application and presentation skills as Critical Language Scholarship ambassador and alumni mentor, Higher Achievement mentor, and private English writing tutor.
